Jeff Wall - New York Times & the MoMA

Great article about Jeff Wall in this week’s New York Times Magazine and his recently launched retrospective at the MoMA. Wall came to prominence in the late 70’s as the first of his generation of fine art photographers to bring photography to the size and status of paintings, using lightboxes to illuminate the richness and detail of his photographs.
