I’m not really sure what to say about these ads, mostly because I’m not sure where I should start. The idea of Scarlett Johansson as Cinderella makes good sense I suppose but any campaign featuring Lyle Lovett as an Alice in Wonderland character just gets into a very weird area.

And perhaps this is just me, but I’ve never really associated Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella with Walt Disney. When I think Walt Disney I think Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Pluto, and lately pirates too.

USA Today has a summary on the campaign for our enjoyment. Not really sure I’d want to spend a night in Cinderella’s castle myself…
