There is a great post on Magnum’s blog, that nicely follows up an earlier post here on the rising prices for fine art photography. Magnum, being the agency that was set up to represent some of the greatest photojournalist pioneers, probably knows what they’re talking about. The article gives a nice history too for some of their more prominent legends like Cartier-Bresson and Robert Capa. Since many famous works of photojournalism are now being purchased as fine art pieces this is extremely relevant.
