Deutsche Borse Photography Prize 2007

Apologies for the dearth of posts…but on March 21st the winner of the Deutsche Borse Photography Prize was announced, awarded to Walid Raad/The Atlas Group for his real, and constructed, photographic documentation of Lebanese history.
The award carries a hefty cash prize of around $60,000 US dollars.
Congratulations to Mr. Raad (a Brooklynite!) but I wanted to give a nod to Phillipe Chancel’s look behind North Korea’s curtain as well.
