Came across this wonderful piece written by New York Times Shanghai Bureau Chief Howard French, with his own photography that captures the energy of the quickly changing city.
There were some other great bits currently on the New York Times travel section, including a globe spanning list of some can’t miss forthcoming photography exhibitions, and a list of great photo spots in New York by nine prominent photographers (handy little location list producers!)
