Possibly he plans to start doing motion work?

Whatever his reasons, I'd venture they're sound.

I don't have much insight here. Steven Klein is obviously a photographer of such clout he doesn't need an agent (and indeed has gone agentless many times in his career...he left art+commerce for goodness sakes) to get him work..he basically has to say yes or no to his clients (who can afford him).

In this situation it just seems like Todd represents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are muses to Klein, so it made sense to all be repped by one person. Klein has a pretty complete operation from what I've heard (studio manager, full-time assistants, in-house producer etc) so Todd wouldn't have to deal with any of that.

I don't get the Steven Klein thing? I've never heard of Shemarya, but assuming he's an agent for celebrities, what benefit is there to going that route, opposed to the standard photo rep? Can you offer any insight? I mean what are agents really for when dealing with celebrity anyway? Mmostly damage control or damage avoidance I'd assume.
