I’d be interested to know when a rep starts out like this how they go about building their stable of photogs. Is it gradual, or are they hustling to get photographers on board asap? Do they focus on courting photographers at other agencies, “stealing them” away, or do they just look everywhere? I’d imagine it’s like building any business on many fronts, but the commodity is the photographers, so the process of acquiring that necessity interests me. Your thoughts AVS?
believe me, this one isn’t hustling. they will come to her and if it’s a good fit then it’ll work itself out. no ’stealing’ will be necessary.
I’m really interested in how agencies get started, too… Maybe you should interview Jae Choi….
Well, that obvious answer didn’t occurred to me.
Anyway, I’ll be interested to see who else is added in addition to Clang.
