I use black and white sparingly -- mostly because I love all the vibrant colors that come out in nightlife photography, but I find that black and white tones seem a bit more intimate and introspective... It seemed like a natural choice for this intimate portrait of Fabio -- a tribute to his co-host on BBC-Radio 1's "Fabio and Grooverider," who has been convicted to four years in a Dubai prison for possession of 2.6g of marijuana: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dilvie/2292694857/in/set-72157603991025187/ These all black-and-white sets make me want to try using it a bit more...
