In case you somehow haven’t heard…William Eggleston is having his first retrospective in the United States at the Whitney (November 7th to January 25th)/
The man has come a long way from how his first show at the MOMA was viewed, back in 1976, which was described by one observer as “perfectly banal, perfectly boring”.
